3.1 Self-Diagnosis Function
The safety light curtain is equipped with a self-diagnosis function. Self-diagnosis is carried out
when the power is turned ON and periodically during the operation.
In case an abnormality is detected during self-diagnosis, the device is immediately put in the
lockout state and the control output (OSSD 1, OSSD 2) is set to OFF state. Find and remove the
cause of the abnormality (see page 103).
