15 Maintenance
In normal operation the instrument requires no routine maintenance other than an
occasional clean with a damp cloth.
15.1 Sensor Replacement
Should it be necessary to replace the sensor the following procedure should be used:
1. Unscrew the eight screws in the back of the monitor.
2. Carefully separate the two halves of the monitor, when the two halves are
approximately 30mm apart, unplug the keypad connector and completely remove
the front of the monitor.
3. Locate the sensor terminals, unscrew the four terminals and remove the sensor
wires. Slacken the cable gland and remove the sensor cable.
4. Feed the replacement sensor cable through the cable gland and connect the
sensor wires as indicated on the circuit board. Ensure that the terminal screws are
securely tightened.
5. Plug the keypad connector into its socket ensuring that it is properly aligned.
Replace the monitor front and refit the eight retaining screws.
6. Switch the monitor on and following the instructions supplied with the replacement
sensor enter the its factory calibration data.
7. The instrument is now ready for use.
