1 Foreword
8200w² Monitor is another “Operator Interface” to the WaterWatch² family of measuring instruments and
sensors, and has been developed to be the successor to the very popular 8100 & 8200 Monitors. Using the
latest embedded processor technology, the 8200w² Monitor has been designed to encompass an easy to
use and intuitive interface while providing advanced features and communication protocols to satisfy the
most demanding of applications and environments.
The 8200w² Monitor is designed to interface with all members of the SoliTechw² IR Sensor family. The
standard 8200w² Monitor provides connectivity for 1 or 2 sensors. It provides two alarm relay outputs (one for
each channel) and a single fault relay output. The fault relay is used to indicate a fault on either input
channel. The 8200w² Monitor has two pairs of set point and delay controls. The alarm set point and delay for
each channel can be independently set and the status of each channel is indicated separately.
