a. Swiping the card prompts the cardholder to enter their PIN number, up to 12 digits, before
the terminal prints the receipt.
b. Manually entering the EBT card number requires the merchant to enter the card number, up
to 19 digits, and press the green ENTER key. Then the merchant enters the card’s expiration
date and presses the green ENTER key.
