4. The merchant enters the amount to charge the card. This amount may match the AUTH
transaction amount or may differ depending on the business.
5. The cardholder taps or swipes the card. If necessary, the merchant may manually enter the card
number. If the merchant attempts to use a different card from the original AUTH transaction, an
ACCOUNT MISMATCH error may occur.
