Charge the battery before using the controller
Warning! Use only the supplied battery charger (or optional vehicle charge lead). Do not plug any other
Pearpoint connectors into the controller power socket.
You must fully charge the controller’s internal battery before using the system for the first time. To
charge the battery:
1 Use the supplied mains adapter (‘power brick’) to connect the controller to the mains power supply.
The controller’s power socket is on the main connection panel on the rear of the controller.
2 Allow 4 to 6 hours for the battery to be fully charged. While charging is underway, the battery
charge LED on the controller’s handle is amber (page 29).
3 When the battery is fully charged, the battery charge LED is green and the battery indicator on
the home screen (page 33) is also solid green.
