Settings
By setting the display to dim automatically when you leave the camera
without performing any operations for a certain period, you can lessen
battery drain. When Power Saving takes effect and the display dims,
press any button to return to the ordinary brightness.
1 Select [Power Saving] on the [H Set-up] menu.
2 Press the four-way controller (5).
The pull-down menu appears.
3 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [2min],
[1min], [30sec], [15sec], [5sec] or [Off].
4 Press the Q button.
The camera is ready for playing back images.
Setting Power Saving
• The Power Saving function will not work in the following
conditions.
- In Playback mode
- When the USB cable is connected.
- While taking movies
- During the video output
- When using the AC adapter
- While using the LCD bright mode
• Even if Power Saving is set to [5sec], the camera does not enter
Power Saving until 15 seconds after the power has been turned on
(when in Capture mode).
