Aftertreatment System
The Clean Emissions Module (CEM) is constructed of
three main items, the diesel oxidation catalyst, the
Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), and the Selective
Catalytic Reduction (SCR). The SCR requires the use
of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to be injected into the
system in order to lower the emissions from the
engine. The (DEF) is stored and controlled by the
pump electronic tank unit. The DEF tank can be
installed separate from the electronic pump unit.
