Event Codes
The ECM can log events. Events refer to engine
operating c
onditions such as low oil pressure or high
coolant temperature. Logged events usually indicate
a mechanical problem instead of an electronic
system pro
blem.
Note: If a diagnostic code has already been logged
then any as
sociated event code to that fault will not
be logged as well.
