During Pregnancy
Pregnant women should always wear
combination lap/shoulder belts. The lap
belt portion must be worn snugly and as
low as possible across the pelvis. To avoid
pressure on the abdomen, the belt must
never pass over the waist. A properly worn
seat belt may significantly reduce the risks
to woman and baby in the event of a crash.
