  If the yellow light is flashing on your Petsafe Pet Care Product, it indicates an obstruction to the flap. Press the MODE-RESET button to make the Pet Door attempt to lock the flap. Clear any obstructions preventing the flap from locking. Normal operation will resume once the flap successfully locks. If the large SmartDoor does not close properly, you can purchase an additional magnet kit.

  If the Pet Door does not respond to the SmartKey Electronic Key when your pet is directly in front of the Pet Door within three seconds, ensure the Pet Door is in AUTOMATIC Mode. Verify the SmartKey Electronic Key has been programmed to the Pet Door. Check the sensitivity level, ensure the RFA-67 battery in the SmartKey Electronic Key is tightly screwed in and that the batteries in the Pet Door are fresh. Also, check for any radio-frequency transmitting or electronic devices that might be interfering with the Pet Door's operation.
