9 Care of the GSD 320
9.1 Maintenance courses
Pfeiffer Vacuum offers maintenance courses for this product. Thorough examples and
more detailed documentation from these courses enable the user to keep the equipment
in proper working condition. For additional information, please contact your local Pfeiffer
Vacuum service center.
9.2 Cleaning the unit
A slightly damp cloth normally suffices for cleaning the outside of the unit. Do not use any
aggressive or scouring cleaning agents.
WARNING
Touching live parts is hazardous. Always disconnect the product from the mains prior
to maintenance.
CAUTION
Make sure that no liquid can penetrate the product. Allow the product to dry thoroughly
before putting it back into operation.
