Instll the softwre
Note
• For ll operting systems, we
recommend instlling the ltest
service pck vilble before
instlling SpeechExec.
• Administrtor rights re required to
instll the softwre. For more help,
contct your dministrtor.
• For instlltion of SpeechExec, 
license key is required (strting with
PDCO-100-...). You cn nd the
license key on the CD envelope.

Turn on the computer.

Insert the supplied instlltion CD
in the CD-ROM drive. The set-up
progrm should strt utomticlly. If
it does not, open the CD contents in
Windows Explorer nd double-click
the utorun.exe le.

When you re sked to llow the
ppliction to mke chnges to your
computer, click Yes.

Click the Instll button.

Follow the on-screen instructions of
the set-up progrm.
Strt SpeechExec
dicttion softwre
If the option to strt SpeechExec
utomticlly ws selected in Settings
> Generl settings > Worklist > Strtup,
the progrm opens s soon s your
system strts.
To mnully strt the progrm, open the
Windows strt menu in Windows nd
select Philips SpeechExec Pro Dictte.
Crete  SpeechExec user prole
When using SpeechExec for the rst time,
 wizrd guides you through the step-
by-step congurtion process to crete 
new user prole nd congure your initil
key settings.
Follow the on-screen instructions to:
• Specify n uthor nme tht will be
used to identify your dicttions
• Strt nother wizrd to congure
SpeechLive
• Dene the nme nd the (network)
pth where your nished dicttions will
be stored
• Set the defult Work type (Note, Letter,
Report, Protocol, or Abstrct) ssigned
to new dicttions
• Strt nother wizrd to congure 
Pocket Memo or  SpeechAir. For
