5. INSTALLATION
Unloading and handling the oven
The oven must be unloaded and handled via a forklift, pallet truck and/or lifting equipment
that is suitable for the weight to be lifted (see the Technical Data tables).
Furthermore, the staff carrying out the lifting activities, must be qualified to perform the type
of task in question.
Positioning the oven
THE OVEN MUST BE INSTALLED BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCAL,
NATIONAL AND EUROPEAN REGULATIONS.
MAKE SURE THAT THE OVEN’S SUPPORT SURFACE HAS AN ADEQUATE LOAD-BEARING
CAPACITY AND IS LEVEL.
After the oven has been removed from its special packaging, position it where
desired whilst taking into account the minimum safety distances from walls and/or
other appliances.
To ensure that the oven is well ventilated, the minimum distance between the walls
and/or other equipment, must not be less than 10 cm on the left and rear side.
Keep a distance of at least 20 cm for the air to flow on the right side, and where
possible, leave at least 50 cm so that the electrical system can easily be accessed
for maintenance and/or repairs.
WARNING!
REMOVE ANY POLYSTYRENE PROTECTIONS AND THE PROTECTIVE FILM WITHOUT USING TOOLS
THAT COULD DAMAGE THE SURFACES.
WARNING!
OVERHEATING RISK: DO NOT PLACE ANYTHING ABOVE THE OVEN.
WARNING!
DO NOT COVER THE AIR VENTS; IF THESE ARE OBSRUCTED, THE APPLIANCE COULD
OVERHEAT.
Connection to the utilities (electrical connection)
WARNING!
ONLY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL ARE PERMITTED TO CONNECT THE APPLIANCE TO THE ELECTRICAL
MAINS.
The oven is supplied without a power cable. The
appliance must be connected to the electrical mains by
interposing a differential magnetothermal switch with
suitable characteristics, in which the minimum opening
distance between the contacts is at least 3 mm.
To connect the oven to the electrical mains, it is
essential to proceed as follows:
• Remove the right side panel;
• Connect the power cable conductors to the
terminal board; this must be an approved H07-
RNF-type cable with conductors that have a
suitable cross-section, according to the provisions
of the regulations in force.
