Using mechanical controls to switch off the oven
To switch off the oven, proceed as follows:
• Turn off the light by moving the switch to position 0;
• If you do not want to leave the previously set settings, turn the thermostats anticlockwise to position 0; otherwise, leave
them in the set position.
• Turn the main switch to position 0.
Using digital controls to switch off the oven
To switch off the oven, proceed as follows:
• Turn off the light by moving the switch to position 0;
•
• Press the ON/OFF button on the termo/timer;
• Turn the main switch to position 0.
8. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Safety precautions
BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY CLEANING AND/OR MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS, PLEASE
ADOPT THE FOLLOWING “SAFETY PRECAUTIONS”.
• Make sure that the oven is switched off and has fully cooled down;
• Make sure that the oven is not electrically powered;
• Make sure that the power supply cannot be accidentally reactivated; unplug the power cable from the mains;
• Use the personal protective equipment required by Directive 89/391/EEC;
• Do not use chemicals on the firestones and internal parts of the oven;
• Do not use water from hoses or high-pressure washers;
• Do not use abrasive materials or sponges to clean the door glass and the metal parts of the oven;
• Do not clean the door glass when it is hot;
• Install all protections and reactivate all safety devices once the cleaning, maintenance or repair operations have
been completed, and prior to putting the oven back into service.
Routine maintenance to be performed by the user
BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY CLEANING AND/OR MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS, PLEASE
ADOPT THE “SAFETY PRECAUTIONS”.
In order to always keep the oven clean and efficient, routine cleaning and maintenance must be carried out at regular
intervals as follows:
• Daily cleaning
1. Clean the inside of the cooking chamber with a metal brush to remove the flour deposits and cooking residues;
2. Clean the inside and outside of the door glass with a soft cloth and mild detergent;
Do not use abrasive sponges.
3. Clean the external parts of the oven such as doors, door handles and the front control panel with a soft cloth and
mild detergent.
Do not use abrasive sponges.
• Weekly cleaning
Thoroughly clean the external parts of the oven with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
Do not use abrasive sponges.
• Monthly cleaning
Lubricate the door pins and spring with a non-toxic grease spray.
To access the spring, open the left side panel.
