Step 2. Go to “WLAN WDS Settings” page to connect the root AP. Select “Enable WDS” and enter the MAC
address of the repeater AP. Then, click “Set Security” to configure the security setting for the WDS
connection. After finishing the configuration, click “Apply Changes” to take effect.
Step 3. In the WNAP-W2201A-2, go to “WLAN  Basic Settings” to configure wireless mode to “Repeater”
and then configure the channel to a fixed one which must be the same as the root AP. Click “Apply
Changes” to take effect.
※ The root AP should be the same model (WNAP-W2201A) in WDS mode; otherwise, the connection might not
be able to be established due to the incompatibility.
