FUEL TANK VENT LINE
IMPORTANT
If the vent line fitting is removed from the fuel tank, it
must be replaced. The fitting will not hold properly once
it is removed.
Symptoms of a restricted fuel tank vent line include the
following:
• Collapsing fuel tank
• Engine miss or hesitation
• Loss of engine performance
• High exhaust temperatures
1. Remove the seats and engine service panel.
2. Check the fuel tank vent line

for signs of wear,
deterioration, or damage. Replace line if necessary.
3. Be sure the vent line is routed properly and secured
with appropriate retention components.
NOTICE
Ensure vent line is not kinked or pinched.
VENT LINE TERMINATION FITTING
This fitting should be inspected and tested using a Mity
Vac™ to ensure proper venting. Connect the Mity Vac to
the fitting and give it 5 pumps. The gauge should return
to 0 immediately or there is an obstruction.
NOTICE
If the vent line fitting is removed from the frame, it must
be replaced. The ears on the clip (arrows) will not hold
properly once it is removed.
AIR FILTER SERVICE
Inspect the air filter at the intervals outlined in the
Periodic Maintenance Chart. In extremely dusty
conditions, air filter replacement will be required more
often.
1. Lift the cargo box and disengage the cover latches

. Lift the cover out of the way.
