ELECTRICAL
POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE (EFI MODELS)
PDM Operation
Solid State Circuit Breaker (SSCB #1)
Pin Signal Name Description
C
BRAKE
SWITCH
Input Signal from Parking Brake /
Disables differential solenoid.
DDIFF IN
Voltage input from the AWD Switch
that signals the PDM to provide a
ground path for the differential
solenoid.
EFAN ON
Relay control input to enable operation
of the fan (from thermistor switch).
FEFI
Relay control to enable the operation of
the Ignition and ECU outputs.
HBAT +
Used to carry DC current to and from
the battery and PDM. DC output from
the PDM is used to charge the battery.
DC input to the PDM is used for power
distribution.
J
ACCESSORY
POWER
12 DCV output signal that provides
power to the accessory circuit.
K FAN 12 DCV output that powers the fan.
LDIFF OUT
Provides DCV to the differential
solenoid.
M
DIFF
GROUND
Provides a ground path for the
differential solenoid.
NGROUND
Battery negative - Used to ground the
PDM.
RECU RELAYPowers the ECU relay output
Solid State Circuit Breaker (SSCB #2)
Pin Signal Name Description
A COIL 1 AC input from stator coil winding 1.
BRUN
12 DCV input signal to the PDM when
the ignition switch is in the ON
position.
E
FUEL
ENABLE
Fuel pump control input from PDM to
ECU.
FFUEL PUMP
Power output to fuel pump and hour
meter.
H COIL 2 AC input from stator coil winding 2.
J COIL 3 AC input from stator coil winding 3.
KAWD
Provides DCV to the hub coil. Voltage
is activated by the AWD switch. Power
is connected internally to pin J2-L.
LHUB COIL +
Provides a positive connection to the
hub coil.
MHUB COIL -
Provides a negative connection to the
hub coil.
N
BATTERY
PROTECTION
12 DCV protected battery output used
for supplying voltage to the key switch.
P IGNITION Powers the ignition output.
