11. Inspect the rollers for nicks and scratches. The
rollers must slide up and down and in and out freely
within the roll cage sliding surfaces.
12. Inspect the torsion spring for damage and fatigue. If
the spring is misshapen or weak it should be
replaced.
GEARCASE REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the Main Power Connector (A) under the
seat.
2. Disconnect the AWD coil harness (B).
3. Disconnect gearcase vent line (C).
4. Remove prop shaft from front gearcase (Prop Shaft
Removal, page 5.4).
5. Remove both front drive shafts (Front Drive Shaft
Removal, page 5.11).
