4. Gently pry the bump stop

toward the top of the
shock to clear the lower spring perch being careful
not to scratch or damage the shock shaft.
5. Remove mud guard ring

6. Remove bottom spring perch

7. Remove main spring

8. Remove spring spacer

9. Remove tender spring
u
.
10.Installation is performed by reversing the removal
procedure.
NOTICE
The spring retainer gap should be 180° from the end of
the spring upon installation.
11. Adjust the shocks. Reference Shock Adjustment
page 2.51.
