8) Troubleshooting Guide for Installers
PROBLEM SOLUTION
Dampers have
no response
when turned on
oro
• Checkifthe‘SafetyisActivated’errorisdisplayed.Highlimit(Heating)or
Lowlimit(Cooling)mayhavereached.Checktheair-conditionertoseeif
it is operating normally. ZoneTouch V2 system will resume to operational
after the supply air temperature is within safety range.
• Check if Supply air sensor is plugged in the mainboard and High & Low
Limitisenabled.Ifthesensorisnotpluggedin,plugthesensorandthe
systemwillbeoperationalafteraminute.Ifthesensorisnotrequired,
disable High and Low limit from touchpad and system will return to
operational in a minute.
• CheckifLEDsonthemainmodulelightupforrelevantzoneswhenthe
zonedampersarebeingturnedOn/O.IfGreen/RedLEDsarenot
activatedfortherespectivezone,themainmodulemaybefaulty,
replace it.
• Check if the cable from touchpad to the main control module is faulty.
Ifitisafaultycable,thenthecablehastobereplaced.
Some zones
cannot be
turnedo
• Checkif‘Spillisactivated’isdisplayedontheLCDscreen.
• Checkif‘Spill’statusisdisplayedfortheGroupstatusinthehome
screen.Openingotherzoneswillrectifytheerror
• Ifallzonesareturnedonbutthetotalopeningpercentagedoesn’tmeet
therequiredspillpercentage,thentheSPILLwarningmessagewillbe
displayed.Increasingtheopeningpercentageofafewzoneswillresolve
the issue.
• Checkspillset-point.
No display on
the LCD
• Checkifthecableispluggedinproperly.Unplugthecableand
reconnect it.
• Check if there is power to the unit.
LCD Display
Corrupted
• ResetLCDbyholdingRESETbuttonatthebottomoftheTouchpad
for 2s.
• Iferrorisstillnotresolved,resettouchpadbyunpluggingthecable
from behind and then reconnect it after a couple minutes. If the
corrupteddisplayremains,powero/onthemainboard.Otherwise,
replace the touchpad.
Some zones
are not
operational
CheckGroupingandndoutiftherightzoneshavebeenassigned
totherightgroupsandhavebeenturnedON/OFFinZoningsection.
Checkifthetotalgroupnumberandzonenumberarecorrect.
CheckiftheLEDsonthemainmodulelightupfortherelevantzones
whenthezonedampersareturnedOn/O.Ifthereisnoresponse,there
mightbeafaultycableandthecablewouldhavetobereplaced.Ifthe
zoneisstillnon-functionalthentheremightbeafaultydampermotor.
