RS-232 Baud Rates
The following baud rates are supported by the RS-232 port on
ViewStation FX and VS4000:
• 9600
• 14400
• 19200
• 38400
• 57600
• 115200
RS-232 Modes
The RS-232 port on the FX and VS4000 supports two modes:
Control and Pass-Thru.
Control Mode
In Control Mode, a device (for example, a PC) connected to the
RS-232 port can control the ViewStation FX or VS4000 using the
Remote Control API. The ViewStation FX and VS4000 Remote
Control API document is available on the Documentation CD.
