ESF
Extended Superframe Format. A T1 data-framing format.
HDB3
A method of signal encoding used with E1.
Network cable
A standard CAT5 cable with ordinary RJ-45 connectors, which
connects a PRI network interface module to the network.
Network side
The side of a PRI network interface module that connects to an
upstream switch or PBX.
PABX
Private Area Branch Exchange (see PBX).
PBX
Private Branch Exchange.
Peripheral Link
P-LINK. Proprietary serial interface for connecting PRI or V.35
modules to an ViewStation FX or VS4000.
