Note: Supported Ethernet Switches on Phones
The VVX 300 and 400 have a two
-port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet switch. The VVX 310 and 410
-port Gigabit Ethernet switch.
The VVX 300, 310, 400, and 410 are the next generation of desktop phones. The improvements
from the Polycom® SoundPoint® IP desktop phones are:
• Adjustable deskmount base like the VVX 500 and 600
• Built-in wall mounting like the VVX 500 and 600
• User interface consistent with VVX 500 and 600
The new or changed features include:
• Distribution Zip File
• Multiple Registrations
• Supported Audio Codecs
You can make configuration file changes to support the VVX 300, 310, 400, and 410 phones.
These are described in Configuration Parameter Changes. You can also make configuration
changes using the Polycom Web Configuration Utility as described in Using the Polycom Web
Configuration Utility.
