SpeedEasy CPU Setup
Figure-3 SpeedEasy CPU Setup
The following indicates the options of each item and describes their meanings .
Item Option Description
l CPU Model Intel(R) BIOS can automatically detect the CPU model,
Celeron(TM) therefore this item is shown only.
l CPU Speed 200MHz CPU frequency should be set according to the CPU
(66x3) type.
CPU frequency should be set according to the CPU
type. For processors with 66MHz FSB you can
choose from 200MHz (66X3) to 533MHz(66x8).
For processors with 100MHz FSB, you can select
from 300MHz(100X3) to 800MHz(100X8). For proces
-sors with 133MHz FSB, you can select from 400MHz
(133x3) to 1064MHz(133x8).
l CPU Ratio 3~8 The multiplier can be chosen from 3~8 or 7~12 . The
7~12 BIOS will detect the CPU ratio and show the chooice
range from 3 to 8 or 7 to12. However the multiplier setting
will not function for bus ratio locked processor, only bus
ratio unlocked processor.
l CPU Host/PCI 66/33MHz Selects the CPU host bus clock and PCI clock.
Clock ......
150/37MHz
l Close Empty Enabled Closes empty DIMM or PCI clock to reduce EMI.
DIMM/PCI Clk Disabled Does not close empty DIMM or PCI clock.
l Spread 0.25% Enables Clock Spread Spectrum to reduce EMI.
Spectrum 0.5%
Disabled Disables Clock Spread Spectrum to reduce EMI.
Warning:
Do not set CPU frequency higher than its working frequency. If you do, we will not
be responsible for any damages caused.
