Replacing Memory Modules on the TS-h1090FU
The TS-h1090FU has 12 memory slots. You can increase the memory capacity of the NAS by upgrading
memory modules. For optimal performance, replace memory modules in all slots at the same time.
Use only QNAP memory modules to maintain system performance and stability. You can purchase QNAP
memory modules from authorized resellers.
Important
• Ensure that all modules are identical.
• Install memory modules in the blue slots rst. When installing eight memory modules,
install the memory in slots 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, and 12.

1. Power o the device.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
3. Disconnect all cables and external attachments.
4. Remove the case cover.
