Installing 2.5-inch Hard Drives or Solid-State Drives on 2.5-inch Trays
Warning
• Installing a drive deletes all data on the drive.
• Installing U.2 NVMe solid-state drives in incompatible bays will damage the drive
connectors.
Only install U.2 NVMe solid-state drives in bays S1 and S2. For details, see Drive
Numbering.
