13.4 Removing the castor wheel
WARNING!
Castor wheel removal is a safety critical task. If you do not
feel confident in carrying out the following instructions,
please contact your Sunrise Medical Approved Dealer.
• Use two 13mm spanners to undo axle bolt (fig 13.12)
• remove nyloc nut.
• Withdraw bolt taking care to capture washers located
• on each side of castor wheel (fig 13.13).
• Remove castor wheel.
• To refit, reverse above procedure taking care not to
• force bolt through bearing spacer.
• Gently move the wheel back and forth until bolt slips
through.
• Tighten to a torque of 19Nm.
