Turning an ID Sub-Bank On or Off
Follow these steps to turn the ID sub-bank on or off dur-
ing the program mode:
1. Press
TRUNK
repeatedly to select the desired sub-
bank.
2. Press
FUNC
then
1
to turn the sub-bank on if it is off
or off if it is on.
Follow these steps to turn the ID sub-bank on or off dur-
ing the scan mode:
1. Press
FUNC
while the scanner is stopped on a voice
channel transmission.
2. Press
TRUNK
. The display indicates which sub-bank
is turned on or off, and the active sub-bank number
flashes.
3. Press
FUNC
and the number of the sub-bank you
desire to turn on or off. For example to turn sub-
bank 4 on or off, press
FUNC
then

.
Locking Out Talk Group IDs
Note:
You can only lock out talk group IDs when the
scanner is in the closed mode (see “Open and Closed
Modes” on Page 63).
