Why is my Ravas Scales accuracy unstable?

  Several factors related to user error can affect the accuracy of your Ravas Scales. Ensure the user performs zero checks and corrections, maintains a vertical mast during weighing, and lowers the load to the reference point at the same speed as during calibration, preferably slowly. Also, confirm that the load's center of gravity is in the middle of the forks and that the side shift is centered, not at the extreme right or left.

  If your Ravas Scales display a positive or negative weight instead of zero over time, you may need to correct the zero more regularly. For new lift trucks, recalibration might be necessary due to changes in mast friction during the first few weeks of use. Also, new sensors become more stable after some use. If accuracy changes after extended use, the sensor may be temperature sensitive. Verify accuracy by lifting a previously weighed item.
