TheG-Seriessystemconsistsofanumberofdevicesthat
communicateusingvariousnetworkprotocols.
Thenetworkprotocolthatyourequipmentusesdependsona
numberoffactors,includingthemanufacturer,theageofthe
equipment,andthedatabandwidthandcompatibilityrequirements
oftheequipment.
TheG-SeriesGPMprocessorunitactsasa“bridge”forthese
devices,receivingdatainvariousprotocolsandprocessingor
passingthedataontootherdevices,asappropriate.
