Beforeproceedingwiththepowerontestofyoursystemyoumust
ensurethat:
•Radarandallancillaryequipmenthasbeeninstalledand
connectedinaccordancewiththemanufacturers’instructions.
•AllG-Seriesequipmenthasbeeninstalledandconnectedin
accordancewiththeG-Seriesinstallationinstructions.
5.2Poweruptest
Itisadvisabletoperformaninitialpower-uptesttohelpensure
thatthesystemiswiredcorrectly.
Performthefollowinginitialchecksbeforeproceedingtooperate
orcongurethesystem:
Turnonbreakers
Turnonthepowertotheequipmentatthedistributionpanel:
1.Monitorsandancillaryequipment.
2.GPMprocessorunits.
Powerupsequence:Powerupthemonitorsrsttoallowthe
bootsequenceandstart-upinformationtobeshownatthemaster
monitors.
Checksystem
Waitfor2minuteswhilstthebootsequenceiscompleted,then
checkeachofthefollowing:
•Monitors.
•Keyboards.
•GPMprocessorsunits.
•GVMvideomodules.
•SeaT alk
hs
switch.
•DSMsoundermodule(refertoseparateinstructionssuppliedwith
theDSM).
Monitorchecks
Youwillneedtoselecttheappropriateinputoneachmonitor.Ona
G-Seriesmonitor:
•Pressthepowerkey(ifrequired).
•PresstheLeft/Rightarrowkeystoscrollthroughtheinputs.
OnaGlassBridgemonitor,usethekeyboardtoscrollthroughthe
inputs.
