Marcom-Cmode
ATISisaEuropeansystemusedonsomeinlandwaterways.
VHFradiosoperatinginanATISregionmustbeprogrammedwithauniqueATISnumber;thiscanbe
obtainedfromtherelevantlicensingauthority.TheATISnumberisattachedasadigitalsignalatthe
endofeachtransmissionandidentifiesyoutotherelevantauthoritieswhomonitorthesystem.
WhenoperatinginATISmode,someoftheproductsfeaturesarenotavailable:
•UseofDSCfunctionsisnotpermittedinATISregions.
•WatchmodesarenotpermittedinATISregions.
•ChannelscanningisnotpermittedinATISregions.
•ATISregulationsrestrictthetransmitpowerto1wattforthefollowingchannels:6,8,10,11,12,13,
14,71,72,74and77.
Y oucanenableordisableATISusingthemenus(exceptonMarcom-Cconfiguredunits).
Marcom-Cmode
Marcom-CmodeisarestrictedradioconfigurationforVHFoperatorswithaMarcom-Clicense.This
isapplicabletoradiosoperatedexclusivelyinEuropeaninlandwaterwaysusingtheATISsystem.
AMarcom-CVHFradiohastheATISpermanentlyenabled.Y ouwillnotbeabletodisableATIS
operation.Marcom-Coperationissetbythedealeratpointofsale.Ifyouwishtoenableordisable
Marcom-Cmode,youmustcontactyourRaymarinedealer.

EnablinganddisablingATISmode
ATISisaEuropeansystemusedonsomeinlandwaterways.AuniqueATISIDmustbeentered
beforeATISmodecanbeenabled.
