During or after the measurement you can
tap the dissipation factor measurement to
switch between tangent delta (tan δ) /
Power Factor (PF)

and Rp (parallel
Resistance)
Small values of tan δ or PF, will have the
same numbers.
Inductive loads:
If the test object is inductive, the instrument
shows automatically Lxp instead of Cxp
and instead of the dissipation factor (tan δ /
PF) it shows the quality factor Q.
The quality factor Q of an inductor is the
ratio of its inductive reactance to its
resistance at a given frequency.
