DASHBOARD DESCRIPTION (FIG.1)
1. Starting switch
Controls activation of all the electric system components.
Pos. 0 = electric system off, Pos.1 = electric system on
2. Multi-function display
On the model “MEGA I”, when switching on the machine, the display
shows a sequence of messages: model of the machine (RCM Mega I),
software version, working hours.
On the model ( MEGA I “S” special), when the electric system is activa-
ted the display shows the washing programme and the pre-set calibra-
tions as described below:
1. (RCM 01) with standard programme, or:
- (RCM 02 ) with programme for pump kit and detergent (optional).
- (RCM 03) with programme for pump kit without detergent (optional).
2. (Pb 24) calibration programme for lead-acid batteries (standard con-
guration), or: (GE 24) calibration programme for gel batteries (op-
tional con guration) with 24V.
3. (000, 001,..etc.) indicates calibration settings and washer-dryer fun-
ctions update.
4. (0-100) the value shown indicates the charging status of batteries.
In all the versions (MEGA I and MEGA I “S” special), the working hours can
be shown by pushing the button 6.
Additionally, the display shows the machine faults. For descriptions see
“DIAGNOSTICS - DISPLAY page 66”.

3. Drive speed adjusting potentiometer
Used to set the type of speed to be used during travel or work.
- Turn to the “tortoise” symbol to set the machine at a low speed
for thorough cleaning.
- Turn to the “hare” symbol to set the machine at a high speed
for travel between jobs.
- Turn to between the “tortoise and hare” symbols to set the
machine at a speed (and cleaning level) between the two ex-
tremes.
4. Drive control levers
The levers control the travel of the machine.
A= Forwards, R= Reverse
5. Emergency stop push-button
Cuts out the contacts for all the controls simultaneously.
If an emergency occurs, press this button. To restore operation, pull
up the button.
6. Commutation push-button battery status || hourmeter
Push the button to show on the display 2 the working hours or the
battery status charge.
7. Vacuum system on || off push-button
Switches on || off the vacuum motor.
The button has a led. When switching on the vacuum, the led blinks.
In normal working conditions the led is on. In case of over-absortion or
any other faults for the vacuum motor, the led blinks.

Caution!
The switching off the vacuum system is retarded by two seconds
to permit the completely emptying of the vacuum hose.
8. Brush push-button
On all the version, this button switches on/off the brushes rotation. In the ver-
sion ( MEGA I “S” special) it also lead the lifting/lowering and pressure on the
oor of the brush basement.
On the version ( MEGA I ), the lifting/lowering of the brush basement is actua-
ted through the pedal 11 ( g. 3).
The button has a led. When switching on the brush button, the led blinks. In
normal working conditions the led is on. In case of over-absortion or any other
faults for the vacuum motor, the led blinks.
On the MEGA I "STANDARD" version (NOT SPECIAL "S") the adjustable pres-
sure of the brushes on the oor has 3 different positions (See Fig.3 - Pos.12):
a) base on;
b) base down;
c) base down with over pressure acted by the manual lifting arm in
upper position.
9. 2nd “brush pressure” push-button
Controls the max. “brush pressure” on the oor.

If necessary, use this function for a stronger cleaning

Caution!
This function can be activated just when brush basement is lowe-
red and when machine is moving forward.
10. Brush water ( ow) indicator (optional)
Shows the brush water ow setted by the push-buttons 12.
11. Detergent percentage setting push-button (optional)
Used to set up the program of dilution of the detergent on the brushes.
The choice of program depends of the dirt on the oor.

Caution!
This function is activated by the program (RCM 02) only.
This function controls three programs displayed in this way
- det.0 (pump switched off)
- det.1 (1% detergent diluted)
- det.2 (2% detergent diluted)
- det.3 (4% detergent diluted)
Push the button once to show on the display the current percentage
of detergent.
To set or modify the percentage of chemical from 1% to 4%, push the
button until the desidered percentage is showed on the display.
12. Water ( ow) regulating push-buttons (optional)
Push on + or - to regulate the brush water ow. The regulating is shown
by the indicator 10.

This function is activated by the programs (RCM 02 - RCM 03) only.
13. Water recycling push-button (optional)
14. Spray and suction device kit push-button (optional)
Controls the spray and suction device kit.
15. Diagnostic LED for drive chopper
The LED with a sequence of ashes indicates the anomalies on the drive
chopper.
