5. Remove the 2 screws (A), the ignition module and
the 2 spacers (B).
CAUTION: Make sure that the spacers do
not fall into the engine. If the spacers fall
into the engine it can cause damage to the
product. Do not use the product if the
spacers are in the engine.
6. Discard the 2 old screws.
7. Install in the opposite sequence.
CAUTION: Use 2 new screws when you
install the ignition module.
Note: Make sure to install the terminal of cord (B)
between the bolt (A) and the ignition module (C).
Make sure to install the spacers (D) between the
ignition module (C) and the crankcase.
8. Use an air gap gauge to make sure that the air gap
is correct. Refer to
Servicing tools on page 9

7.9 Flywheel
7.9.1 To remove and install the flywheel
1. Remove the cylinder cover. Refer to

2. Remove the starter unit. Refer to

3. Remove the spark plug cap and the spark plug.
4. Put a piston stop in the spark plug hole. Refer to
Servicing tools on page 9
.
5. Turn the flywheel by hand until the piston is stopped
by the piston stop.
6. Remove the nut.
7. Remove the flywheel. Refer to
Servicing tools on
page 9
