8. Tighten the 3 muffler screws.
9. Remove the spark plug.
10. Attach the pressure test plug in the spark plug hole.

11. Attach the pressure tester to the pressure test plug.
12. Increase the pressure to 0.8 bar and wait for 30
seconds. Make sure that the pressure is not less
than 0.6 bar.
13. Remove the pressure tester and the pressure
vacuum tester.
14. Install the spark plug.
15. Remove the exhaust seal and install the muffler.
16. Remove the inlet seal and install the carburetor.
17. Install the cylinder cover.
7.10.7 To do a compression test
1. Run the engine for a minimum of 5 minutes.
WARNING: The engine and the muffler will
be hot.
2. Remove the attachment of the compression tester.
3. Remove the spark plug and install the compression
tester (A) to the cylinder.
4. Pull the starter rope handle (B) 5 times to measure
the compression in the cylinder. The value must be
more than 8.4kg/cm² (872kPa).
Note:
The result will not be correct if you do the
measurement during the conditions that follow:
• The engine parts are not warm.
• You have just replaced a part of the engine.
