14. Remove the piston pin from the piston with a piston
pin tool. Refer to
Servicing tools on page 9
.
15. Remove the piston and remove the needle bearing
and the 2 washers.
16. Remove the piston rings, if it is necessary.
17. Examine the piston, piston rings and cylinder for
wear. Refer to
To examine the piston on page 27
.
18. Install in the opposite sequence.
19. Install a new cylinder gasket. Make sure that the
gasket is put in the correct position. The text "FAN"
and the arrow must be where the arrow points.
CAUTION: Discard the used cylinder gasket
and install a new cylinder gasket when you
install the cylinder.
