Inspect all fasteners and metal for fatigue. Lubricate the slider track
of the helm seat with a good quality silicone lube. Check all fasteners
periodically for tightness and the effects of corrosion especially in
moist environments.
It is a good practice to use a small amount of silicone lube on all
hinges to keep them freed up for proper operation.
