EXHAUST
Exhaust: Precautions for repair

Before cutting the pipe, draw a line (D) between the
marks (P1) and (P2) .
The distance (X) between the two marks is 80 mm.
3 - Using tool Mot. 119-01
Position the tool on the pipe.
Tighten the two bolts on the cutting tool so that it grips
the exhaust pipe.
Turn the cutting tool with the handle while gripping the
pipe.
As the cut is made, continue to tighten the two bolts of
the tool (do not overtighten the tool against the pipe, to
prevent deformation during the cutting operation).

WARNING
When replacing the intermediate section of the
exhaust pipe (pipe on diesel versions, expansion
chamber on petrol versions), shorten the spare part
by 60 mm.
