11. Operation
a) General Information
The base station has 8 buttons that can be used to control all functions:
"SET" Starts setting mode, changes settings
"ALARM" Displays the alarm function for the upper/lower threshold, switches the alarm on/off
"HISTORY" Displays recorded values, switches to normal mode
"MIN/MAX" Displays minimum/maximum values
" " Displays the previous information, increases value
" " Displays the next information, reduces the value
" " Selects the menu/display
" " Selects the menu/display
The display has 10 different display ranges (see chapter 7. b):
• Time/date
• Lighting strength and UV-index
• Indoor temperature and indoor humidity
• Outdoor temperature and outdoor humidity
• Barometric pressure, barometric pressure progress and weather forecast symbol
• Wind speed and wind direction
• Wind-chill temperature, dew point temperature and heat index
• Rain volume
• Moon phase, storage display, symbol for DCF radio reception, symbol for receiver of the outdoor sensor signal,
symbol for alarm function
• Two text lines and value displays
The base station has 6 different operating modes:
• Normal mode
• Setting mode
• Memory display mode
• Alarm mode
• Minimum/Maximum mode
• Calibration mode
