The “Language for non-Unicode programs” setting on the Windows operating system will be used
to determine the default paper size to be used after the driver is installed. The default paper size
will be determined based on the language that is set:
• If the language (country) is in North or South America, excluding the "Portuguese
(Brazil)“ setting, Letter will be the default paper size.
• If the language (country) is in Europe, Asia, Oceania, or Africa, or set to "Portuguese
(Brazil)“, A4 will be the default paper size.
