Message Causes Solutions
Memory Data Lost Data in the memory was deleted
due to a memory fault.
The machine prints Power Failure Report
and recovers from the error automatically.
Cancel Printing
I/O Timeout
The timeout period set in [I/O
Timeout] expires when printing
is frequently interrupted by data
from other ports, or when the
print job is large and takes time
for processing.
Set [I/O Timeout] to a larger value than
the current setting. For details, see
page 113 "Printer Features Settings".
Cannot Print
Memory Overflow
The data is too large or
complex to print.
Select [600 x 600 dpi] in [Resolution] to
reduce the size of data. For details, see the
Printer Driver Help.
Paper Size Mismatch
Press Start or Stop
The paper size set for the
document differs from the size of
the paper.
• Press the [Start] key to begin printing,
or press the [Clear/Stop] key to
cancel the job.
• If [Auto Continue] is set to [0 sec.], no
error message appears.
Paper Type
Mismatch
Press Start or Stop
The paper type set for the
document differs from the type
of the paper.
• Press the [Start] key to begin printing,
or press the [Clear/Stop] key to
cancel the job.
• If [Auto Continue] is set to [0 sec.], no

Scan USB Disconnect The USB cable was
disconnected while scanning
from a computer.
Reconnect the USB cable properly, and
then try the operation again.
Fax Job Memory
Over
The number of fax jobs in
memory has reached the limit,
so new jobs cannot be stored.
Wait until pending jobs have been
transmitted or printed.
No Destination • No destination is
registered in the selected
Speed Dial.
• You have attempted to
redial, but there is no any
redial data (history).
Enter the fax number manually.
