1.3 Resetting to Factory Shipping State
The following operating procedure needs only for when using the new main PCB ASSY. If
you use the main PCB ASSY that has been used even once in the market, there is no need
to follow this procedure.
<Operating Procedure>
(1) Enter the maintenance mode. (Refer to “1.1 How to Enter Maintenance Mode” in
Chapter 5.)
(2) Press the [▲] or [▼] to display “MAINTENANCE 03” on the LCD, and press the [OK].
“1.SWSUM?” is displayed on the LCD.
(3) Press the [▲] or [▼] to display “3.ShippingStat?” on the LCD, and press the [OK]. “ON”
or “OFF: Change OK?” is displayed on the LCD.
(4) When “ON” is displayed on the LCD, the machine is at shipping state. Press and hold
the [Go] for five seconds to return to the initial state of maintenance mode.
When “OFF: Change OK?” is displayed on the LCD, press the [OK]. The machine will
transfer to the shipping state (Shipping state=ON) and return to the initial state of
maintenance mode.
(5) Press the [▲] or [▼] to display “MAINTENANCE 99” on the LCD, and press the [OK].
The machine returns to the ready state.
(6) Turn OFF the power switch of the machine.
Note:
• If this procedure is not be performed, some external commands cannot be received.
Also, the machine keeps poor state of security such as risk of leaking private
information.
