Dirt on the electrodes of the
drum unit, toner cartridge and
those of the machine
Clean the electrodes of the drum unit, toner
cartridge and those of the machine. (Refer to
Fig. 2-6 (P2-31) and Fig. 2-7 (P2-31).)

Connection failure of the laser
unit flat cable
Reconnect the laser unit flat cable.
3 Laser unit attachment failure Reattach the laser unit.
4 Laser unit flat cable failure Replace the laser unit flat cable.

high-voltage power supply
PCB and those of the
machine
Clean the electrodes of the high-voltage
power supply PCB and those of the machine.
6 Laser unit failure Replace the laser unit.
7 Main PCB failure Replace the main PCB ASSY.
