Appendix C: General Care and Cleaning 
General Care 
Do not store or leave the instrument in where the LCD display will be exposed to direct sunlight 
for long periods of time. 
 
CAUTION:  To avoid  damage  to  the instrument,  do  not  expose  them  to  sprays, 
liquids, or solvents. 
 
 
Cleaning 
If this instrument requires cleaning, disconnect it from all power sources and clean it with a 
mild detergent and water. Make sure the instrument is completely dry before reconnecting it to 
a power source. 
To clean the exterior surface, perform the following steps: 
1.    Remove loose dust on the outside of the instrument with a lint- free cloth. Take care to 
avoid scratching the clear plastic display filter. 
2.    Use a soft cloth dampened with water to clean the instrument.   
NOTICE:  To avoid damage  to the surface of the instrument, do not use any  abrasive or 
chemical cleaning agent.
