2. Release the side of the alligator or belt clip that is opposite the hinge. You may need to use a
screwdriver to pry it open.
3. Rotate the captive battery cover screw counterclockwise.
4. Remove the battery cover.
5. Remove the old batteries.
NOTE: New batteries must be installed within 5 minutes to avoid having to reset the
date/time.
