  If calibration fails on your RKI Instruments Measuring Instruments, consider the following: 1. Ensure the GX-3R is properly set up for calibration. 2. Replace the charcoal filter or the dual filter. 3. Check all calibration tubing for leaks or bad connections. 4. Verify the calibration cylinder contains an adequate supply of fresh test sample. 5. If the issue persists, the calibration values may not match the cylinder gas concentrations, the charcoal filter might be saturated, the sample gas may not be reaching the sensors, the calibration cylinder may be out of gas or outdated or the sensor(s) may need replacement. If the fail condition continues, replace the sensor(s).
