  If the LCD screen is blank on your RKI Instruments Monitor, there are a few potential causes. First, ensure the unit is turned on by pressing and briefly holding the POWER/ENTER button. If it still doesn't turn on, the alkaline batteries may need replacement, or the Li-ion battery pack may need recharging. Replace the alkaline batteries or recharge the Li-ion battery pack.

  If your RKI Instruments Monitor indicates flow failure and doesn't recover when RESET is pressed, several factors could be responsible. Check the probe tube for obstructions, inspect the hydrophobic filter disk in the probe and replace it if dirty, and examine the sample hose for kinks or obstructions, replacing it if necessary. You can also attempt to set the low flow setpoint.
