1 . From the ALARM SETTING menu, place the cursor next to ALARM
LATCHING.
2 . Press and release POWER/ENTER. The Alarm Latching Screen appears.
3 . Use ▲AIR or SHIFT ▼ (PANIC) to display the desired setting.
4 . Press and release POWER/ENTER to save the setting and return to the
ALARM SETTING menu.
Updating the Alarm Silence Setting
With ALARM SILENCE set to ON (factory setting), pressing and releasing
the RESET button silences the buzzer when the GX-6000 is in alarm. The
LEDs continue to flash, the vibrator continues to pulse, and the display
continues to show the alarm. If you enter Display Mode during an alarm
condition, the buzzer will be silenced but the LEDs will continue to flash and
the vibrator will continue to pulse. If you return to Measuring Mode and there
is still an alarm condition, the LEDs will continue to flash, the vibrator will
continue to pulse, and the buzzer will remain off.
With ALARM SILENCE set to OFF, you cannot silence the buzzer. If you
enter Display Mode during an alarm condition, the buzzer will not be
silenced, the LEDs will continue to flash, and the vibrator will continue to
pulse.
1 . From the ALARM SETTING menu, place the cursor next to ALARM
SILENCE.
2 . Press and release POWER/ENTER. The Alarm Silence Option Screen
appears.
3 . Use ▲AIR or SHIFT ▼ (PANIC) to display the desired setting.
4 . Press and release POWER/ENTER to save the setting and return to the
ALARM SETTING menu.
Returning to the Maintenance Mode Menu
1 . From the ALARM SETTING screen, place the cursor next to
ESCAPE.
2 . Press and release POWER/ENTER. The instrument will return to the
main menu.
Turning the Pump On/Off Display Screen On and Off
With PUMP OFF DISP set to ON, the Pump Off Screen appears in Display
Mode and the user can turn off the pump in order to conserve battery power.
With PUMP OFF DISP set to OFF (factory setting), the Pump Off Screen
does not appear in Display Mode and the user cannot turn the pump off.
